Wakefield Community Boating, operated by the Boys and Girls Club, rents kayaks and paddle boats during the summer months.

The Wakefield Farmers Market sets up at Hall Park, on the west side of the Lake.

Learn to sail, join a race, or simply enjoy lakefront views at the Quannapowitt Yacht Club, a long-standing sailing club on Lake Quannapowitt that offers structured programs and events for the whole community.

The adjacent Town Common is a popular spot for fairs and festivals, picnicking, concerts, and relaxation.
